Quality Control Analyst
- Ghent
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives, embrace challenges and grow beyond your dreams? Then we invite you to embark on a journey to become a Legend in your own right. Join our vibrant Quality Operations Team and experience how far your passion for quality can take you. As a QC Analyst in CAR-T Manufacturing, you are a vital contributor to our mission of saving lives.
Sound challenging but no experience yet? Don’t worry, we will teach you how! Just as we take care of our patients, we take care of our employees.
What can you expect?
In our GMP-controlled environment, your expertise ensures the highest quality of cell therapy products. Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Environmental monitoring: You check production facilities by (non) viable particulates sampling to verify cleanroom classification.
- Advanced QC testing: You conduct QC testing for CAR-T products in IPC labs, from clinical trials to commercial use. You ensure that all tests are carried out in compliance with all applicable procedures, standards and GMP regulations.
- Collaboration: You collaborate closely with Quality, and Operations to bring analytical testing from bench to production.
- Documentation and data management: You review and approve QC data, and you maintain the integrity of our processes through rigorous documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You manage test results in a software application called eLIMS and you perform peer approvals and reviews of laboratory data.
- Process optimization: You also create, review, and approve relevant QC documents, SOPs, and work instructions. We challenge you to think along with us about possible process optimizations.
Working in an aseptic environment entails that you must also wear sterile clothing. Furthermore, we work in a shift regime, no nights but weekends.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who thrive in a GMP-regulated environment, and who are passionate about quality.
- Education: You have a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or another related technical discipline.
- Experience: We offer extensive, in-house training after which you can start working smoothly in your new role.
- Languages: You are proficient in English, with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strenghts: You are highly organized, capable of multitasking, and a true team player. Your positive attitude and ability to adapt to shift schedules, including routine weekend and evening work, are vital in this role.
